Cyber-Bullying: Any form of bullying behavior- any messages that are meant to intimidate, embarrass or harass - that are sent over any communication technology.
Instant Messages or IM: A way to instantly communicate with another person over the Internet.
MMORPG: Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game is a variety of role-playing games taken place in a virtual world, in which a large number of players interact with each other.
Private Profile: Information that is entered into one's Social Networking Site which is only seen by people that the owner has given permission.
Public Profile: Information that is entered into one's Social Networking Site can be seen by anyone who has an active profile with the Social Networking Service.
Sexting: Sending or receiving nude or partially nude pictures over a cell phone.
Social Networking Site (SNS): Web-based service that focuses on building online communities of people who share interests and/or activities. Ex: Facebook and MySpace.
Text Messaging or SMS (Short Message Service): Text messaging allows short messages to be sent and received using cell phones or computers.
